Current Specs:
Intel Core i5-4570
8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM
1TB HDD
MSI Twin Frozr GTX 760 GPU
Currently running an OC'd MSI GTX 760 Twin Frozr. Mostly do iRacing, but also enjoy some FPS games and Civ 5. My 760 runs my 27" 1080p monitor well enough so far. But curiosity strikes...
Metro: Last Light runs around 45-60 FPS on very high settings - no advanced PhysX or SSAO. Pretty good for me. BUT I can't help but wonder if an upgrade to a 770 or even a 780 would get me to a stable 60 FPS. I'm currently OC'd to 1200 mhz core (with boost) and have the memory OC'd an additional 600 in Afterburner. No voltage increases. And I'd like to keep it that way. I SHOULD be within 5-10% of the GTX 700 if I've read reviews correctly. I could sell me current GPU on ebay and upgrade to the 770 for fairly cheap OR go ahead and grab the 780 and be done for a long time. But I've read that the 780 is really best suited for higher than 1080p situations. I won't be running triple's for iracing (not wife approved)...So I'll be at 1080p for a while. I'm just after a stable 60 FPS (V sync). And I'm not huge into having my card OC'd. Unless somebody can tell me it's OK as long as I'm not messing with voltages.
