Get windows 8 it's better for gaming. ( regardless of what anyone sais here ) a K mobo to overclock. ( asus rog mobo's so easy to oc even I did it ! ) my rig is first time pc gaming.
I like your build otherwise

Is Windows 8 that much better for gaming than 7? I really don't like windows 8 interface but if it's that much better than I would consider changing that.

Thank you! I'm gonna change to the intel 4670k because I'd like the ability to overclock and that Ram is cheaper so I'll buy that as well. Would the case I have right now be fine becasue I'd rather save the $50 if the more expensive case isn't necessary.

Awesome! :D One last question. I'm thinking about using the MSI Z87 G45. Would that mobo be worth the extra price or if I go with a cheaper one I will I be fine? Just want something durable and up-gradable for the furture.
 
Asrock's Fatal1ty is a good board, usually what you hear about Asrock being bad is their lower-end boards, but their Fatal1ty is good quality. I wouldn't say the MSI is better, but I also wouldn't say it's worse. Both are pretty much equally upgradeable as well lol
