I got two Kingston Hyper-X 8GB DDR3 1600 RAM modules.
VERY VERY annoyingly I managed to mostly scratch off one of the gold "bits" (where the RAM connects to the slot) on both modules in the same place (don't ask!).
I've been to two computer shops who both said the damage is unfixable.
My question is should I throw them in the bin, or can I flog them on ebay (for obviously hardly any money)?
Is it possible to harvest them for anything?
