Best system among those two

Hi,

I have a Dualcore 5200 with 3GB RAM. I don't play much, just a bit of TF2. I use Photoshop and Illustrator and those get quite slow sometimes. In fact certain processes and applications make my computer often slow, especially when I haven't reinstalled Windows for more than 6 months.

I want to buy a new computer that will almost never get slow even when Photoshop and Illustrator are running together. I'm considering a i5-3330 or a i5-4440 system. These are the ones I have in mind:

> Intel Quad Core i5-3330 3.0GHz from this computer

> Intel Core i5-4440 3.10GHz, 6MB Cache from this one

Is there a big difference between the two?

The first one doesn't come with an OS, so you'd need that, and has half the storage space. Either would be fine, you won't see any noticeable performance difference between the two, but the Haswell one (i5-4440) has a low-power state during sleep, but that won't really effect anything lol

Ok but the one with 6MB cache should be more comfortable with heavy calculations isn't it?

They both have 6MB of cache, and that'll be enough.
