will the intel hd 4000 be good for a user looking at color differences

I have a user that is in marketing department and correct color is critical for her. I am in the process of replacing her laptop and the one I am looking at has a HD Graphics 4000 . is this good for this application

Intel HD graphics have come a long ways through the years, but this is not professional graphics. Color fidelity and design precision is best done with professional graphics cards like the AMD FirePro or nVidia Quadro line, which are actually made for this sort of work.

That being said, actually getting the best high-precision color fidelity doesn't come just to the graphics card but also relies heavily on the type of monitor you are using. The standard TN LED panels on most laptops just doesn't have great color quality, even after calibration. It's recommended if you really need color precision to invest in an IPS display, even if this is an external monitor that you can hook your laptop up to.
