Adobe After effects i5 to i7?

Hi there,

Im planning to do some work on adobe after effects and thinking about upgrading my i5 2500K to Intel 3rd Generation Core i7-3770K, what do you guys think? is worthed?

My specs are:

i5 2500k
16GB RAM (PC3-10700 - 667MHz)
GTX 670
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Pro4-M
SSD 128gb & HDD 1TB

I think you should totally do it! I7's hyperthreading works awesomly with software like Sony Vegas, PhotoShop and After Effects, although you're current build will definitely handle the job ;) maybe it's not even worth it.... It depends, what are you going to do with After Effects? Professional stuff or just mess around with it? Try it in your current system, if it works great, if it doesn't accomplish what you were looking for, upgrade!

Hi thanks for your reply, well im not doing anything fancy, just some blurs , lighting and stuff, i just want it so it previews the cliuip faster without all the waiting and lags

It lags with your current build? Uh, we see everything around here :D! Ok, then upgrade, you won't regret it!
