HI all,

I have Sony 40Ex520 TV and I want to watch a occasional video on it having size of 18 GB.

As Sony TV supports only FAT file system, how to view the video on TV?

I have 500 GB HDD. and video file format is m2ts.

Please advise me.

Thanks in Advance,
Kuldip.

I easiest was is to get a HDMI cable(your TV has 4 HDMI ports) & (if your pc has a HDMI out port) and connect is through the HDMI to HDMI on the TV. You will need a player and I use Gom and VLC. If the video is HD set the aspect ratio to 16:9 in the player and then you hit full screen.

That is a networked TV, aside from connecting the HDMI to the TV, you can stream the movie file to the TV (if it supports the format you have) though a file share you can setup on the computer.

The computer has to be DLNA certified. I watch videos on my TV all the time and I use a HDMI cable. My TV is wireless and has the ability to watch Netflix and Hulu streamed videos. My PC isn't DLNA certified and either is my TV. From what I read both devices have to be certified. When I watch the video i don't care how big it is as long as it fits on my hard drive. I use VLC or GOM because I can adjust Aspect ratio and full screen. It's an enjoyable HD experience since my Laptop is 1080p and my tv is 1080p.
