What is the right cable to connect my Zenbook Prime to my new ASUS VG248QE LED Full HD Monitor? Somebody send me a link from NCIX or Amazon. Right cord or adapter maybe for the display port not the HDMI.

You can only get 144hz with the dual link dvi cable. HDMI only goes at 60hz.

I have it. It came with the monitor. Now how do I connect this cable to the micro HDMI slot( in my computer) and make it work. I have a bundled VGA adapter which came with my laptop too.

That won't work, the HDMI slot will still bottleneck it. You can't convert a 60hz HDMI output magically to 144hz.

Displayport will also work, if you happen to have a mini displayport or full sized one.

If you don't have a DVI-D slot on your laptop then you need to use a Display Port. You cannot use and HDMI connection or VGA connection at all. You must use DVI-D or Display Port. If you do not have either of those connections on both the monitor and the laptop then you're out of luck.
