I just installed my new Hyper 212 EVO, plus Define R4, and Windows 8.1 Pro, and decided to run Prime95. It has been running for around 10 minutes now, and Core Temp has not gone above 38C, and is hovering around 35C, with all 6 cores (FX-6300) at 100%.

This seems very low for full load...

More info:

This is the first stress test after the swap of the case, heatsink and OS. Previously I had a no brand case, standard AMD heatsink (with Artic Silver 5), and Windows 7, and it got to around 70c.

Now I am using Define R4, Hyper 212 EVO (with Artic Silver 5), and Windows 8.1, and it is at 35c.

Any information is appreciated. Thanks!

What are your ambient temperature? Which application do you use to get those readings? What are your temperature for other parts of your system?

If all your cores are running at full speed (near 100%) and still are getting body (37° C) temperature, then I would suspect that something is wrong or you have an extreme low ambient (room) temperature.

Holly smokes those temperatures are freeking awesome. What program are you using to measure these?

Nevermind I see you are using Core Temp.

As already asked what is your ambient temperature in Celsius?
