I'm building a new rig with the following parts:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K

CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X60

Motherboard: ASRock Z87 Extreme4 ATX LGA1150

Memory: Mushkin Radioactive 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600

Storage: Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM and SSD later on

GPU: 2-way SLI, EVGA GeForce GTX 770 SC 4GB

Fans: like 7-10 Noctua fans

would 850w PSU be enough for this build? (with CPU and GPU overclocked)

If yes then should I go with Corsair RM850 or HX850?

850 is plenty for that. I'd go for the HX over the RM, the HX is a bit older but it is also a better quality unit. The HX series used to be Corsair's flagship line which is why the HX850 comes with a 7 year warranty compared to the RM850's 5 year. It just uses better quality parts in general. And with newegg showing the HX as only $10 more than the RM its a pretty easy choice, i expected to see a $30 difference when i looked.

Hello, I had to RMA my 1-year-old HX850 and Corsair responded that the model was obsolete/discontinued and offered to trade it for an RM850. How do I politely tell them that I don't want one(or should I even?) Do you think I should ask for an AX860? And I though that I heard somewhere that they are legally obligated to give me an equal or better quality product?
