Hey, so I wanted to build a new gaming pc my budget is around 70k (INR)

Q. Purpose of Build?
A. Video Editing(After Effects, Sony Vegas), Gaming, 3D Modeling(3DS MAX, Blender), Photoshop

Q. Will I overclock?
A. Yes, I will overclock in future.

Q.How much hard drive space is needed?
A. 1TB

Q. Which OS I will use?
A. WIN 7 or 8

Q. Do I need a monitor?
A. Yes, Dell S2240L

Here what I am thinking to go with:
Processor- FX 8350
Mobo - M5A97 EVO R2.0
PSU - Corsair 750TX V2
GPU - R9 280X Vapor-X
RAM - Gskill RipjawsX 4gbx2 1600Mhz
Monitor - Dell S2240L
Cabinet - HAF 912
HDD - 1TB WD BLUE

I am really confused between FX-8350 and I5 4670K.
My questions:
Will 1600Mhz RAM work with 8350?
Will 8350 Bottleneck R9 280x?
Can I overclock with M5A97 EVO R2.0

Please help :)

I would recommend for video editing/photoshop/rendering the FX-8350 over the i5, as the multi-thread performance is higher. For gaming, it won't really matter. You can overclock the 8350 just fine with that board, but make sure you get a good CPU cooler before doing that.

That memory is perfectly fine with that motherboard/CPU combo :) If you can find faster memory at CAS 9 that would be better too, as it would increase editing/rendering performance (not so much gaming, though).

Normally I would recommend an NVIDIA card for CUDA applications, but I believe NVIDIA is either not available or very expensive in India, right? If not, a GTX 760/770 would be a good choice as well.

If there is a noticeable price difference, a 550w or 650w power supply would be fine as well, if you want to save some money.

Overall, I like your build :) Did a good job with the parts.

Thanks a lot for the quick reply :)
And yeah, NVIDIA cards are expensive here GTX 770 is about Rs. 5,000 expensive.

For CPU cooler I suggest going with a hyper 212 evo try and find 1866 MHz RAM for similar price. I suggest going with NVidia for the GPU since it has inbuilt physx and cuda cores instead of stream processors but the r9 would do you good to. Yes you can overclock on that board but remember it has only a 4+2 power phase which is still pretty good.
