Hello this is my first build. I am posting to make the components I have selected are a good choice and are compatible with each other before I order. I think I have everything covered but please let me know if theirs anything else I will need. My goal is to play the latest games on high settings.

Purchase date: Today

CPU: Intel Core i5 4670k
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-I DELUXE, Intel Z77, S 1155, DDR3, SATA III - 6Gb/s, SATA RAID, PCIe 3.0 (x16) DVI-I, Mini ITX
System HD: 128GB Samsung 840 Pro Basic, 2.5" SSD
Data HD: 1TB Seagate ST1000DX001 SSHD Hybrid
RAM: 8GB (2x4GB) Corsair DDR3 Vengeance
Graphics card: EVGA GeForce GTX 770 Superclocked 02G-P4-2771-KR
PSU: Corsair CXM Builder series 750W Hybrid Modular Power Supply
CPU Cooling: Corsair H100i
Case: Aero Cool DS Mini
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 home premium
Thermal paste: Artic Silver 5

I chose a graphics card with a rear exhaust because i think it will be good to blow the air out the back of this case. I am going to overclock the CPU so I hope a Cosair H100i is sufficient.

Same issue(s) as your previous thread.
As far as I'm aware, the Aerocool DS (unless they made another version which isn't on their website yet) is mATX, so it's a bit of an odd choice for an ITX focused build.

I made a new thread because I decided to go with the Aero Cool case with a Corsair H100i instead. My reasoning for going with a SSHD for the second hard drive is to speed up load times for games. It's not really any more expensive than a normal SATA lll and i've heard good things about them. I think my build is near perfect just need to choose the right motherboard.

Asus Z87M-PLUS - £94
MSI Z87M-GAMING - £99

Asus GRYPHON Z87 - £115 - decided on this one.

Just to be clear - you are dealing with micro ATX(mATX) system(s) now, not ITX.

I'm not sure how well an SSHD will work for your purposes. As I understand it, the drive only prioritises frequently accessed data, so unless you play the same game often and consistently, it's probably not going to make a huge amount of difference, plus a 120/128Gb SSD is a pretty decent amount of storage for your OS and a few games.

If I was pushing this much money into a build, I'd get a GTX780. It might potentially be overkill, depending on your display resolution and the types of games you intend to play, but it's probably more budget suitable. Stuff like the H100i is great, but it's not going to make a huge difference in games.

I assume you are using a 750W PSU because you want to potentially do SLI in the future? If you do, this is about the right wattage, but the PSU you chose (The CX750M) is pretty poor. If I was buying a 750W PSU in the UK, I'd probably get this or this. Both have great OEMs, great warranties, and aren't vastly more expensive than the Corsair.
If you aren't going to SLI, then a ~550W is plenty.

If you are planning an SLI mATX setup then there's a only a few motherboards that will work. The Gryphon is one of them, and it's not outrageously priced, though it doesn't have an awful lot that the Extreme4M doesn't.

I've ordered it! I took your advice and got a GTX780 instead. I am very happy man :)
