So I'm working on a system for a friend of mine. I will list the hardware below, but my main issue is that I can't get the programs to run that he wants. They all require SP1 to be installed. Sp1 will not install. I've tried it through Windows Update, the manual download, some windows "repair" tools, and still nothing. All the hardware is new, and while I'm reluctant to blame the hardware, it's really looking that way. I was able to get windows installed and mostly updated, I got 2 of 4 games to run that he wants on this computer. (Warframe via steam and Warthunder)
The other 2 games he wants (World of tanks and Mechwarrior Online) would not run for anything, and all suggestions involved getting SP1 on the system.
