Hello everyone!

I am in need of community's opinion on my build. This is my first custom/gaming PC, i've spent most of my days on laptops. I've spent about $850CAN on this PC, bought everything second hand except for R9 270x.
Any feedback is appreciated!

CPU: AMD FX-8120 Zambezi 3.1 GHz (OCed to 4.6ghz)
CPU Cooling: CoolIT SYSTEMS ECO-R120 Advanced Liquid Cooling
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD7
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LP 2x4Gb (1600Mhz, 1.5v)
GPU: Club3D R9 270x (1080MHz)
SSD: 2x50Gb OCZ drives
HDD: WD 2TB drive
PSU: Cooler Master V1000 (1000W)
Case: INWIN (don't know exact model, but it does the job)

I know CPU is not the ideal, but MoBo and liquid cooling came with it and it was my selling point. I'm quite fond of PSU as well. Brand new R9 270X - $270CAN and rest of the stuff was $580CAN. Keep in mind that CPU, HDD and SDDs are ~3 years old at this point.

On one hand, I could've opted out for less flashy motherboard, and gotten a better GPU and CPU and on other hand I could stick 4 R9 270x's in this motherboard and overclock my CPU to something unreasonable with help from liquid cooling and PSU. It took me a while to decide on this and I still wonder if I made a right decision going used instead of new.

So what do you guys think? Would I be better of buying all new components?

As u pointed out only issue is the CPU, but its not that Mich of a problem theses days as more games and applications generally are moving towards multiple core usage. If you get a good deal you could change to a fix 8320 or fx 8350 later
