Which one should I go for? I will be gaming (mostly ps3) and also watching movies/general web browsing. I am leaning towards the Acer because of it's slightly bigger size and also IPS screen, but I'm worried it might be a bit too laggy for gaming with. Will I notice much difference? Also, is there any noticeable difference between the screen size (23.6" vs 23.8")?

Both are similar, but the Asus VE247H one has 2 m/s response which is phenomenal for gaming purposes and I would recommend that one.
