Recently I have decided that I am going to build my first computer. This computer will be specifically used for PC gaming and needs to be able to handle high quality settings with little to no lag at all. An essential part of this build is that not only will the computer need to handle the games, but it will also need to be able to stream the live gameplay (to TwitchTv). I want to have two monitors so that streaming will be organized and simple. I am more of a coder than a hardware genius so my question is this. What are the best components for the best price? I don't want to waste too much on something that I don't need, however I want to make sure that the computer meets my needs. My budget for this build is currently $2,500, but if the total price could be any less than that, it would be most beneficial.

Does that budget includes the monitors and the OS?

You can get away with spending much less. Id put your budget for a build like that more around 1800. i would go with a single GPU set up seeing as you are streaming and don't want shuttering. 770 4gb or higher. il put something together in a min. :)

Nice budget to work with:

This has some embellishments you can easily tone down - specifically:

You could back down to a 120 GB SSD but I think you'll appreciate not having to install your games to the HDD so you get the faster load times
You could decrease the size of the HDD but I am guessing you'll want to keep some of that twitch footage which if you're streaming at the highest quality will stack of quickly
You could go with monitor with a lower refresh rate, but if you are mostly gaming and can afford it, it's probably worth the splurge
You could get less expensive memory (DDR3-1600 w/o heatspreader) and probably reduce the capacity to 8GB but that would impact performance
You don't need a bluray writer, but if you're going to have to buy an optical drive you might as well pull the trigger
You don't NEED a 780ti or an 4770k, but if your goal is to stream to twitch while playing on the highest settings without a hiccup that would be the ideal setup. No need to get stupid and buy a Titan

That is all - enjoy your beast rig that makes others weep

If all you were doing was gaming and wanted to save a little money, here's what I would build - still more than capable of running all current titles on high settings:

I appreciate the help! I am pretty set on an I7 processor as well, although I am not quite sure specifically how powerful of an I7, I'm still getting an I7. When setting up the dual monitors, will there be anything I need extra or anything I need to be aware of?

Thats a good build, you could definitely tone it down a bit though to save money. 16gb of memory isn't really need, the performance is minimal at best. A 770 4gb or 780 3 gb would more than suffice. a 4670k would cut a lot of the cost down and would not impact gaming to much especially when you have a good GPU doing a lot of the work. i was really set in a i7 when i built my first pc but after looking into i i decided the performance increase was not worth the cost.
