Below I have included the details for my first computer build. This is my first time putting together a PC and I'm looking to be able to run any major PC game at full setting and also the ability to video edit at a decently fast and smooth pace. It would be much appreciated for all input on parts - switching some out or adding. A large amount of research has gone into these parts but if I have forgot parts needed or that could improve performance please comment (: Finally, my budget was around $3,000, and this build pretty much maxed it out, but if needed additional money can be spent to insure the best computer.

Motherboard:
Asus Maximus VI Formula

CPU:
Intel i7 4770K

GPU:
EVGA GTX 780 Ti (1x)

RAM:
G.SKILL Trident X Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
Or
G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133

SSD/Internal Hard drive:
Samsung 840 EVO 500g
WD BLACK SERIES WD2003FZEX 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive

Fans:
ENERMAX ETS-T40-W White 120mm Cluster CPU Cooler with Cluster APS PWM Fan
• I’m wanting to make this a green LED heat sink fan… is it possible to replace the fan blades of 120mm fans with green LED fans?

PSU:
Corsair HX1050 (I went with the higher watts (1050) so I can add more graphics card later if needed)

Case:
Phantom 530 Black (full tower)

Disc Drive:
ASUS Black 12X BD-R 2X BD-RE 16X DVD+R 12X DVD-RAM 8X BD-ROM 4MB Cache SATA Blu-ray Burner BW-12B1ST/BLK/G/AS

Monitor:
ASUS VX238H Black 23" 1ms (GTG) HDMI Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 80,000,000:1 Built-in Speakers
• I went with this monitor while I wait to get 2 G-SYNC monitors that are not available currently… another question is, will my computer with its graphics card be able run 3 monitors? Or will I have to add another graphics card if I wish to do this?

all seems very high quality. Only spend this much money though if you actually know how to use it. Can you justify the formula and know the reason you're spending so much on it, etc? Make sure you get a good cooler for the cpu. As for the RAM I'd go with the 2133. Overall there is actually little difference in performance of RAM as when you go up with frequency you increase latency. But there are some apps where the 2133 makes a difference and there are no instances when a 1600 is markedly faster.

I went with the formula mobo so I can overclock it and with the budget I have I wanted to get the best computer so it could last over the years. About the RAM I was unsure on dealing with the frequencies and latency, but this helped. Thank you for the input and help.
