I'm sure there's a better forum for this kind of question. But this is the only forum I really visit or post to. So-- was looking over that website, FutureTimeline.org and it got me thinking (about living to see the future).

So- say for instance life expectancy in 2050 increases to 150. Would that apply only to people born around 2040 - 50, or could someone born in.. 2000 have the possibility to live to 2100 or 2150 etc.. vs whatever the life expectancy was around the time they were born? (Ie, if it were 80 tops in 2000, they'd just live to [if they kept healthy and were lucky] 2080, 2090 (from medical advances helpful but unable to reverse the effects of aging unchecked by previous, inferior technology) tops)?

That was kind of a ling full. But I'd be interested to know any interested parties' thoughts on the topic.

Thanks for reading!

This is definitley someting I've thought about before, but those numbers sound really soon. I live in Okinawa where we have more people over 100 than anywhere else in the world and It's not because of the healthcare. I would be interested in hearing what other people have to say
