Thoughts ?
http://nz.pcpartpicker.com/user/koonah2000/saved/4ibR
here is the parts picker on a build I am planning to build in the next month or so
this is my first ever custom build but know how a computer works (its not rocket science)
I am planning on using this for mostly gaming (battlefield etc.) and some minor video editing
is there any flaws in this?
if so please point them out to me, and hopefully improve them
Thanks a lot <3
^_^
yours sincerely
Connor MacDonald

My thoughts are to get a single 2 tb hard drive and for gaming i7 is not necessary but still 780 is powerful u can go on with it but 8 GB RAM is the current limit for a gaming rig as 16 gb is overkill. You can upgrade it later. Also get a Z87 board as your current one won't allow you to overclock but you CPU is a good overclocker.

This is a great build with much less expense and you can add your own fans and if you prefer an i7 4770K and you can upgrade the memory later.

1.
Why are you getting i7 4770k combined with H87 mobo? -K is for OC and H87 is not for OC.
I saw that you get a water cooling there too, I think you would OC your rig as I saw also the -K processor. Get Z87 mobo instead and you are good to go.
2.
Regarding why you should pick i7 and 16GB RAM, etc. I assume you would not need budget reduction..or do you?
3.
Why 2x 1TB HDD? Just get a single 2TB or 3TB HDD instead.
4.
120GB SSD is a bit minimal nowadays, if you can afford it, get the 250GB or higher.
The 500GB EVO 840 from Samsung is nice for the price.
