Did I upgrade at wrong time?

So I recently got a new PC and I'm now running this setup.

4670k @ 4.4 GHz
EVGA 780 Ti
8 GB DDR3

But I'm worried that since Watch_Dogs requires 8 core AMD or i7 I won't be able to run it on ultra... I don't really want to upgrade twice in a month... nor do I have money for it. Did I waste my money? FML....

No, you will be fine, you have a very good cpu regardless of it being a Quad. If you are concerned you can always get a good CPU cooler and overclock (assuming you have a Z87 motherboard).

i5-4670ks start at 3.5Ghz, so I'm sure he's already overclocked 900mhz.

First of all, you didn't waste your money. You choose the one of the best parts available.

Secondly, you should be able to run in ultra to high settings

Thanks, I hope you are right. Knowing Ubisoft I don't mind If it isn't constant 60 fps. And 4.4 GHz seems to be the best my 4670k can do without going to killer voltages...

If it doesnt run well on your system, then Ubisoft have done something badly wrong, as you have a better system than 90% of pc gamers.
