hi im having a problem with my gpu it bring a lot of heat and i was thinking to under volt or to under clock my gpu i picked to under clock because my gpu is already bottle necked by my HT punitem 4 3.0 ghz and i thought that it might be safer then uv because it affects the stability of the gpu so will my gaming be worse if i under clock even if its not being fully used ?

Is it the GPU that becomes hot or is it that the GFX card is heating up your case, CPU etc? If it's the latter you could buy more case fans.

You could run a performance test of your system for gaming, before and after underclocking.

You could also do a test with temperatures, before and after, to see the effect.
