Hi there !!

My System Specs Are :

CPU: Intel Core 2 quad Q550 3.4Ghz OC
Mobo: Ep43-UD3L
GPU ATM: ATI HD 5830
RAM: 8Gb (4x2GB) Dual Channel Geil Sticks
PSU: Akasa 600w (although it says 550w max)
OS: Windows 7 64bit

So obviously i need a new rig to play the latest game titles at decent frame rates (BF4) but i cant afford that atm so i will just buy a decent GPU that wont bottleneck my cpu..Any ideas?
I was thinking of r9 270,270x or even maybe gtx 760..

I forgot to mention my screen only supports 900p (1680x1050) so less computing power needed

I would not get a card more more expensive/ powerful as a r9 270 as your cpu will bottleneck it. Even a r9 270 will be bottlenecked in some games. Although all games should be playable with that setup and 270 2gb. The MSI r9 270 2gb is around 200 and stays quiet and cooler than others i would get the MSI one

NVM if its a quad core it shouldnt bottleneck nearly as much i though it was a dual core but i would still get the card i recomended

Go ahead and get a 270 or a 760. Who cares if your CPU bottlenecks it. You will probably upgrade the rest of your system in a year or two, then you won't have to upgrade your video card again to get decent framerates. Better to pay $250 now then to pay $130 now, then pay $250 in a year because your 1 year old video card is now badly bottlenecking your newly built system.
