Hello! I am looking at building a PC at a $1000 price point. The $1000 will include the OS and monitor. I have made a $1000 PC Build w/ the monitor and OS on PCparticker, but does anyone have a better build than mine at the same price point? Also keep in mind I will be playing PC Games at 1080p and I would like to be able to have FPS at or near 60 fps at High-Ultra settings in most modern titles. And do you think I should change anything? Thanks!

Thanks but I really would like to keep the GTX 770 in there. Do you think there would be a big difference if I was gaming and I got the GTX 760 or GTX 770? Cause I'd really like to have most of my games at or near 60fps on High-Ultra settings. But I possibly could squeeze the i5 4670k in there. It's always $189.99 at MicroCenter.

Okay thanks, I was thinking about getting the Hyper 212 EVO. It seems really good for the price. And I'm just wondering, isn't a Bronze Certified Corsair PSU enough?

GPU>CPU in gaming. The 770 is the lowest you would want to go for next gen gaming

So the GPU is more important than the CPU in gaming?

Yes especially in singleplayer games. In multiplayer you'll need at least 4 cores for cpu now

CTurbo! I think I have found my build! I have changed the i5 4570 in your build to an i5 4670k. The 4670k is the same price at Microcenter. Luckily, I live near a Microcenter. Thank you SO much for the build, it's really good! And thanks Skylarz for the help! You have the best answer but I can't find the button to choose your post as the best answer.

Usually, when microcenter has the 4670k for $189, they have the 4570 for $159.

Yep they do- http://www.microcenter.com/product/413255/Intel_Core_i5-4570_32GHz_Boxed_Processor
