This is the battle of the poor mans pc build. Two contestants, Intel and AMD. One winner. Who shall it be?

You have the underdog with crazy overclocking potential and the ability to crossfire/sli. He is fully future-proof and upgradable. The.The 6-man with the R9 270X:

Then there's the quad core champ, who unfortunately can't overclock. He will be at tightly packed in that sexy 350D.. with dat window doe. He wields the more powerful 760, but in a smaller package... http://pcpartpicker.com/user/coolidip/saved/4jrq

System will be used for obvious gaming (Dayz, BF4, Modded Minecraft) and then some autocad and photo/video editing. If I had money, this would be a i5 4670k and z87 build. But I don't, so don't comment saying why I just didn't do that.

More about : pretty obvious 850 build

I like the second build better, but I think you can overclock on your budget.

Later on, you can buy a CPU cooler and overclock.
