So, I have been getting bombarded with the 123srv.com ads. It happens about 75% of time when clicking on things on the interwebs. I seriously need to get rid of it! It didn't/doesn't happen on my laptop, so I really don't what the problem is. I'm using Google Chrome on Windows 7 if that helps.

Er, ads are not viruses.

For Chrome, install the AdBlock Plus extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/adblock-plus/...

I did that when I installed Chrome. And there are such things as "virus" ads. They are ads that, unbeknownst to the user, infiltrate the computer, or browser, etc, and overlaod you with ads.

If 123srv.com is a pop-up ad, your PC probably gets infected with certain adware or malware. Some malicious pop-ups are often generated by those unwanted programs. It is suggested that you run antivirus programs to scan the recently installed programs, but some of which can't be found in program control panel. All in all, a number of pop-up ads can be solved by the same method. See more detailed information at http://blog.doofix.com/category/remove-ad-popups/.
