Hello,

Here is the link to my new PC Build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3oPS4
Any comments, suggestions? For the cooling part, planning to go full underwater with EKWB.

PC will be mainly used for day to day operations, gaming. My current PC is 7 years old, so its a huge upgrade from the one i currently have lol. Oh on another note, i never switch the PC off, constantly running. Seeding torrents, FTP server for my personal access from work laptop in case i need something that is on home pc.

More about : gaming build good

ill add it in the build im almost done with. do you want more than 1 monitor?
April 9, 2014 9:33:36 AM

Yes one monitor is fine. I am not a fan of 3 monitors gaming or day to day use.

Wow , that's quite a build you got there and I guess your budget is around $5000 if you even have a budget.

I just finished giving my computer a complete make over and used the Asus Black with the 4960x and 32 gb Dominator Platinum However I kept the video cards from the previous build. I would say that your proposed build will last several years of top quality gaming. Water cooling is the only way to go , I have everything water cooled.

do you need a keyboard/mouse, headphones or speakers?
April 9, 2014 9:40:14 AM

Thanks, my previous PC is all under water, never had any problems with that. How many additional fans should i use besides water cooling?
April 9, 2014 9:46:49 AM

I am more of an old fashioned when it comes to keyboard and mouse. I still use logitech mouse that i have for the past 4 years. With regards to keyboard i am thinking of mechanical keyboard but with no macros on the side, really annoying i always hit them instead of Esc button lol

The most important fans will be on the radiators and as for the case just a couple to keep the air flow going. The SSD will need to be near a fan to keep it from getting too warm.

6-8 fans should be enough i guess? Any particular brand? From what I've read people tend to use corsair fans.

Corsair fans are good , I have those on my radiators because of the high static air pressure rating. For the case itself you'll just need some quiet fans to move the air or put a fan controller so you can set the speed that you want.
Cooler Master just came out with the Jet Flow fans and they are supposed to be very good.

you really only need 4 case fans, 2 intake 2 to blow air out. any more than 4 will just add more noise. maybe 5 cuz its a full tower case, but i would not go above 5. also, when you get fans look at the specs for the noise and airflow, find some that have good airflow and low noise.

Thanks, any other suggestions? HDD WD is a good option? I have mix feelings between Seagate and WD.

they are both fine hdd's, so if you want seagate go for it. also, you know how to put together all the parts right?
