Hey Everyone. I just received GeForce 8800 Ultra from a friend for free. Its the exact same 1 that I currently have and just wondering if I should set it up SLI or make it a dedicated PhysX card? I'm not worried about the power usage I'd like to try out both ways and see if there are any major differences but I would have to buy a SLI Cable first but if you guys say dedicate it to PhysX I won't bother with the cable purchase. Thanks.

If you have enough power supply, definitely do SLI. PhysX uses very little of the card's resources. But if your MB's 2nd PCIe x16 slot is only x4 lanes electrically, SLI will be a waste of time.

The 2nd one is a Full x16. I'm gonna get a SLI and try it out. Thanks

Yes, that's the chipset. But what is the make/model of the motherboard? And the PSU?
