I'm planning on building a $1600-$1750 AUD gaming PC including a monitor.

I would like this PC to be a Micro-Atx system.

I will be overclocking the PC.

This will be a huge step up from my hp laptop.

I appreciate the help.

Do you think there's anything that we can change up to fit an r9 290 in the price range?

Maybe change the case to the fractal design arc mini for example. And is there a better cpu cooler than the 212 Evo?

If this can't be done than i guess beggars can't be choosers.

I appreciate the suggestion.

This will do you wonders if you can go $4 over budget. If not, drop the i7 and go with an i5-4670k.
Best of luck :D
