What does the Uverse hardware physically connect to?

Hello all,

I am building a PC, and I realized I haven't the foggiest idea what part of the PC my AT&T Uverse physically connects to.

Does it connect to the motherboard, or some other part that I need to purchase?

I am guessing this is a spectacularly stupid question, but I appreciate any helpful replies. Thanks in advance!

Ethernet port/plug unless they install a wireless router combo unit or you install a wireless router after it, then physical would be radio waves to the antenna of your wireless card.

Thanks very much! My current PC doesn't have wireless capability, so it must be an ethernet port/plug as you mentioned. So it doesn't sound like I'll need any additional gear, which is great. Thanks again!

Most probably, you already have Ethernet jack on your motherboard, so the only think you would need is long enough Ethernet cable. If you are getting everythingk from AT%T, there will be a cable in the box as well.
