Hi!
Can I plug a Nvidia 9600GT card on PCI Express 2.0 x1 slot? It would be used to manage desktop while main GPU is rendering stuff (everything is really laggy then and uncomfortable to work on). Motherboard is ASRock 970D3/U3S3
CPU: AMD FX 4100
GPU: Gigabyte 660.

The card will work in any PCI Express version slot.

However, I'm not sure if the setup you desire will actually work.

You can't use both video cards for a mix of gaming and desktop use. One will have to be your graphics card that you use for the desktop, games, etc....

The other, you can dedicate to Physx ... or, maybe, if you have a properly setup CUDA program, it *might* be able to run a CUDA program (but I don't know).

If you want the second video card ONLY for a very specific CUDA program, then might want to make sure the CUDA program will actually be able to find the video card and then be able to use it when it is not the main one.
