GPUBoss GPU comparisons

Its not the best.
They get their specs wrong a decent bit, most cards dont show up based on brand, unless you know the entire title, and the percentages are weighted incorrectly. Trust benchmarks mainly.

i have to agree there is no information about that, i've read on anandtech that the cards where tested at reference clockspeed but i can,t find it anymore..

Now compare those mystery test conditions with TechPowerUp:

Test System
Test System - VGA Rev. 32
Processor:
Intel Core i7-4770K @ 4.2 GHz
(Haswell, 8192 KB Cache)
Motherboard:
ASUS Maximus VI Hero Intel Z87
Memory:
2x 4096 MB Corsair Vengeance PC3-12800 DDR3 @ 1600 MHz 9-9-9-24
Harddisk:
WD Caviar Blue WD10EZEX 1 TB
Power Supply:
Antec HCP-1200 1200W
Software:
Windows 7 64-bit Service Pack 1
Drivers:
NVIDIA: 335.23 WHQL
AMD: Catalyst 14.2 Beta 1.3
R9 295 X2: Catalyst 14.4 Beta
Display:
LG Flatron W3000H 30" 2560x1600
3x Hanns.G HL225DBB 21.5" 1920x1080
Dell UP2414Q 24" 3840x2160

Benchmark scores in other reviews are only comparable when this exact same configuration is used.
All video card results are obtained on this exact system with exactly the same configuration.
•All games are set to their highest quality setting unless indicated otherwise.
•AA and AF are applied via in-game settings, not via the driver's control panel.

Each game is tested at the following settings and resolutions:
•1600x900, 4x Anti-aliasing. Common resolution for most smaller flatscreens and laptops today (17" - 19").
•1920x1080, 4x Anti-aliasing. Most common widescreen resolution for larger displays (22" - 26").
•2560x1600, 4x Anti-aliasing. Highest possible resolution for commonly available displays (30").
•5760x1080, 4x Anti-aliasing. Typical three-monitor high-end gaming multi-monitor resolution.
•3840x2160, No Anti-aliasing. 4K Ultra HD resolution, available on the latest high-end monitors.

Then test 16 of the latest games and provide cumulative performance at various resolutions. Throw in similar charts for: noise, power consumption, performance per watt, and performance per dollar, and you get a much more reliable picture of how the video card will perform on the latest games with the latest drivers.

nice to see that my gtx780 is 70% as fast as the new dual gpu r9 295x2 :D
now...what about the core clock speed of the cards that where tested? where they overclocked edition? where they overclocked edition with even more overclock? this is a much bigger variable then anything else...any info on that?
to me graphics card should always be benched one against the other with the MAXIMUM stable overclock...this gives a better idea of what each gpu's can do...

Then you would probably like overclockersclub.com, at least the old site. They used to test all their cards stock vs. stock, and overclocked vs. overclocked. Puts the usual "yeah, but overclocked it would beat a ....." debate to an end. These days, they say that they test overclocked vs. overclocked, but its hard to tell what they mean.

DO NOT TRUST GPUBOSS,
they are complete NVIDIA biases (Nvidia probably bribes them or something), go check out their website, I have yet to see AMD win a match
GPUBOSS keeps on beefing up NVIDIA's frame rate compared to other AMD cards.
They don't even test these cards using the same build....
Use reliable websites such as andandtech, their tests are actually legit, unlike gpuboss...
