If you run a GTX card, I suggest spending the money on something really worth your while like a G-Sync monitor, they are expected to release Q3 this year. Otherwise the 2nd best option would be the ASUS 144Hz monitor that M0j0 posted. IPS monitors are more for people who do graphic design and video work, which might come to no use for you.

AOC on the other hand just released a new monitor this month that competes with ASUS's 144Hz which you may want to take a look and figure it is worth a look since it is brand new, and who doesn't like brand new??
