This is exactly how my mobile phone conversations over VoIP have been sounding lately. Are there any VoIP apps out there with fewer call latency issues and jitter? I am not looking for a cheaper alternative just a decent VoIP app with fairly good call quality.

More about : hear

I am using Viber Out to make calls .Too many jitters .Tried Skype also in the past but it doesn't integrate well with Android devices

The Commercial Spam links have been removed from earlier posts. So far, no poster has been banned for posting and concealing the links in BB code.

I actually need this as well. I need to call Indonesia and need a app that can call regular phones. Doesnt seem like people on Tom's know too much about them.

Skype works quite well on Android and is a lot cheaper to most countries than the mobile service providers. Also, of course, it's free to other computers with Skype installed. The US and Canada forced up prices to protect their own phone companies' profits but many countries are still very inexpensive to call.

There are so many options when it comes to making calls within US but when I have to make calls to my folks in Philippines I use Viber Out and it sucks big time. Skype comes with a subscription rate rit ? Its a tad bit expensive :(

The reason your post about Global was removed because of your masked link to another product. On this occasion only I will edit that link out and leave the rest in but if you post Commercial Spam in Tom's again, you will be permanently banned.,

It seems like one of the responses was deleted..mentioning Global Call.

Global Call is a voip app not as popular as skype but then again, its usually the unpopular apps that do overcompensating with freebies or promotions. I've used GC for about 9 months and havent switched back to ******* since. Basically it's a pay as you use app where you can monitor your credits which you can purchase. Some of the rates were actually cheaper to some of the countries I need to call for with - Spam link removed by Saga Lout - but they dont have promotions for credit bonuses very often which makes GC a better selection personally. I checked out their fb page to see if they have any promotions and they seem to be doing a bonus credit event where you get double your credit purchase (only new users, i cannot join
You're welcome.

I find Skype to an ok choice, if you have the time to use a computer. But for calling landlines, they have a connection fee of 8.9 cents which adds up quite significantly if you make short calls multiple times a day. I used to use Skype then I switched to Spam link removed by Saga Lout and now I'm using Global Call, until a better service comes.

Ok first off. This was my first time posting on this thread. All I said was there seemed to be another response that was deleted, it was not me. Secondly, I did not mask any link at all. I typed out the URL plain and simple, making a recommendation to a fellow user, links are posted here all the time. And finally, your site seems to have a flaw when you type in certain words or brand names. I typed 'Rebtel' and did not mask any link whatsoever. Your site did that on its own automatically WITHOUT my consent or knowledge thereof. I apologize if you insist I broke rules however I am confident i did not. You should check out the problem I just mentioned about the masked links. I'm sure a lot of people are catching flak for something not in their hands.

Btw, these are the flaws on your forum I believe must be addressed by all the moderators as I believe its a pretty big problem. These 'masked links' that are being referred to are either from a virus on your site, or a bug in your site template.

I have provided a screen shot of the issue. Please have a look.

The promotion page is www.globalcall-1plus1.com (not a masked link)

I agree that the Global link was not masked but I removed it because you were beginning to look like a Commercial Spammer. I will look into the matter of the other link and unconditionally apologise if I wrongly accused you.

There does seem to be an issue with a new type of advertising link. It is being investigated. Please bear with us. Our apologies for seeming a little trigger-happy, but fighting spam is a huge part of what we Moderators do and it can seem like a never-ending battle, testing all our patience.
