Best Value 8Gb/16Gb RAM For Gaming?

I am looking to buy either 8Gb or 16 Gb of RAM for my new PC, which will be primarily used for botting. the motherboard i will be using is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130692

I was wondering what RAM would be the best to buy in regards to performance/price.

for performance versus price Mushkin ram is hard to beat
corsair/gskill/kingston are also all reputable brands with lifetime warranty aswell

8 vs 16 GB depends on what you do, if you really use the rig, heavy muti-tasking, memory centric apps, use large data sets the the 16GB will prove it's worth in increased performance

most games like crysis 3 , farcry 3 etc will not utilize more than 8gb of ram , if you check the maximum requirements for most of the games you want to play you will see what i mean , Tradesman 1 is correct , for heavy multitasking , rendering etc 16gb will be better but the majority of gaming a good gpu and 8gb ram is more than enough

I always go with Corsair Vengeance Pro but thats my opinion. Lifetime warranty. For eg.: if i had a corsair psu, cabinet, and ssd then i would alsogo for corair ram.
