Hi,

I can suggest a few changes.

1) Consider getting an SSD ; they're coming down in price drastically and cannot be beaten for performance. Definitely worth the investment --- super fast boot times and OS operation. If you dont want to spend on it, atleast consider a hybrid SSHD drive such as the seagate momentus XT or even better, the new WD black 2 which is a 120gb SSD + 1TB HDD.

2) You motherboard is definitely the wrong the choice especially for a 4th gen i5. You MUST have a Z87 for optimum performance. Haswell needs the Z87 chipset to make full use of its power and functionality and spending $900 without a Z87 would not be right. How about these?: (only a few...you can look around )
A- http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gigabyte-Motherboard-4thGenerat...
B - http://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-Z87-G45-GAMING-Motherboard-...
C- http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gigabyte-G1-SNIPER-Z87-Motherbo...
D-http://www.amazon.co.uk/Z87-Plus-Motherboard-Intelligen...

The MSi and Asus boards are really solid. Also, I know these are in £ for the UK, but its just to give you an idea of the models.

Hope this helps!

Yes thats ok, just its a mATX size and your case supports full size ATX, so it is a wiser choice to go for a full size board so you have more features and expansion potential.

Of course it would be! MSI/ASUS boards are more solid though.
