I am going to be building a computer starting next week and was wondering where I should place the clip of my anti-static wristband when I have a fully painted case. I really don't want to harm my parts with static, but no where on my case is something metal to attach the clip to. So I was wondering if I could place it on something else I could find around my house without spending any extra money. I have a metal door nob that isn't attached to a door yet, would that work? If anyone can help me out with this ASAP, and give me an answer that doesn't involve buying anything, then that would be very helpful and I would really appreciate it. Here is the computer case that I am talking about- NZXT Source 210 Elite(Black).

Here is a link to a website that has a couple pictures of it: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

all of my cases are painted and to ground myself all i did is touch the outside of the computer case before i touch a part.

my current case http://postimg.org/gallery/ql0xj0nu/ my previous case http://postimg.org/gallery/37mzf8y1m/ and a build i did for a relative http://postimg.org/gallery/78slmoca/

all are painted and for all i just touched the outside of the metal skin prior to touching any part.

if you want to use the clip and wristband i suppose you could clip it to the psu or to a screw you have screwed into the outter frame such as the case panel thumbscrew slots but anything will likely work. i cant say that i've ever used the wristband as its not really needed.
