Dell ultrasharp U2312hm or HP 23xi IPS monitor?

I'll use the monitor primarily for web browsing and watching videos, and there will be occasional movie watching and gaming (BF,COD,AC,Farcry etc usual pc games).The budget is $200 and I can't increase it.

Monitor outlook is a important factor for me, thats the only reason I'm still hesitant on buyin dell one over HP. 23xi is obviously much prettier and will look better on my table!!

now the question is, is the Dell one too good to not prefer over the HP? or is there little difference between the picture quality of these so that it doesnt really matter which one I buy?
ur kind help is appreciated.

Hi, from those two I would pick the Dell, but you could go for this one; it is cheaper and better for gaming. Also the Artificial (Digital) color resolution doesn't really matter, it's all about the real resolution/ratio.

I'd go with the Dell, they tend to be sturdier and the quality difference is almost unnoticable.

thanks but I think i will stick with IPS panel. I'm not an online gamer so there isn't actually much need of very fast response time. And I already said that I'm gonna use it primarily for browsing web,do some programmin and watchin HD movies.
i wanted the HP one bcoz it looks much sexier
