After recently seeing the system requirements for Ultra settings, I'm just wondering how well my PC will run it approximately? Specs are as follows;

- Intel Core i5-4670K
- Nvidia GTX 770 (Standard/Reference clock speeds)
- 8GB Hyper X Beast RAM @1600mhz
- Asus Z87-A Motherboard

Thanks for any help in advance!

Meanwhile the official release says they will require a gtx 780 for max settings along with an i7 3930k or fx 9370 or above? But then again i think those requirements they released are hogwash. Especially since the division requirements are so much lower. Im expected a 770 to max it out with good fps as well, same with my r9 290 + fx 8350

I think they are talking about 60+ FPS, but in my opinion 45 is really good.

Yeah i guessed that but still, i am taking those requirements with a pinch of salt, well a bucket of salt. I think they are way off personally. Plus ubisoft always guesses way too high lol. I am expecting maxed out settings with 60 fps on my build, if not ill over clock my cpu a bit but i highly doubt it (then again i could be wrong, although those chances are slim). Im fairly confident that we will be seeing max settings 60 fps on lower than their stated ultra requirements. I would like to see them release a directx 12 version! Seems like something worth petitioning for if the game is so demanding on the cpu, would reduce the requirements significantly and probably even improve the graphics in the meantime.

To be honest, as long as I can run it at high settings with a consistent 40-50 frames a second, I'll be more than happy. It'll still look better than the PS4 and Xbox One versions at high settings any way, or so I've been told..

Ultra settings are:
CPU: i7 4770k
GPU: GTX 780

I doubt that you will really need the i7 4770k to run the game at ultra/max. An i5 4670k or FX 8350 will probably do just fine. Anything less than a GTX 780 might not be able to max out every single little video setting though but the game will still look gorgeous. Besides, Ubisoft probably exaggerated the spec requirements anyway.

Maxed out with a 770 and a i5 my guess is 30 fps @ 1080p like Assassins creed black flag.

I think 20FPS, since you get 30FPS on a GTX 770 approximately on ACB4 and the graphics on Watchdogs is supposed to be improved I believe.

The pc version looks good, but not that good. A GTX 780 will more than likely pull off 60 fps at the very least, on ultra settings. Unless the game ends up being terribly optimized.

I doubt it however a 780 ti with a 4930k might get close to 60 fps in my option.

A 780 ti and 4930k? Lol overkill much, maybe if you were trying to run 2 Watch Dogs while video chatting on skype..
Ubisoft has already released the ultra settings requirements which are GTX 780 and i7 4770k.
They've also stated that fps is very important and they're not willing to skimp in that aspect, even on consoles, so it's safe to assume that they don't expect pc gamers to be playing at 40 fps with the above specs. Like I said, expect at least 60 fps with a 780 and 4770k unless the game is horribly optimized (which might not be the case this time, as Watch Dogs was developed on PC first, then ported over to consoles) or Ubisoft is straight up lying.

You're a optimist lol maybe in 6 months the 780 with a 4770k will deliver close to 60fps maxed out @ 1080p after patches and driver updates.

I game @ 1440p with a 780 ti & 3570k, I will probAbly have to lower some of the settings to get60 fps.

When gaming @ higher resolutions games are more gpu dependant.

I think everyone is overplaying the requirements way too much, so is ubisoft. No way this game cant max out on a 780 or r9 290 with a good i5 processor or 8xxx series fx. You cant compare it to other games, system requirements just dont work like that. It depends on the engine and the way the developers created it, a game that looks like crap can take a ton while a wicked looking game can run on a slightly lower pc if its optimized properly. I think most people with high end gpus wont have trouble at all when it comes to ultra at 60fps. Everything maxed out 1080p will be more than possible. In fact im sure we will see many people playing it at 1440p or even 4k. Dont get hung up on "requirements". Often they are way overkill specs that they just make up, we wont know till it really releases but im confident it will run fine on a lot of cards maxed out.

Hopefully you're right! However I'm skeptical because AC Black flag's recommended were a quad core processor and a gtx 470 and a single gtx 780 cannot max this game out @ 1080p with a solid 60 fps.

AC4 was designed for PC and it looks great and a lot of fun to play but heavy because the game has great tech and still needs a few driver updates and patches.

I wouldn't be surprised if this game will needs a gtx 780 ti or 2x 780's to max out with a sold 60 because Ubisoft's recommended specs are usually very modest....
