In November I purchased a Lenovo Y510p gaming laptop. This is my first experiencs with computer gaming, aside from occasionally playing TF2 or CS on my plain old desktop I had. How long should I wait to upgrade to a desktop? Although I don't know much about computers, I plan reading a lot of the guides out there and building my own PC. I will list the specs of my Lenovo below:
Intel Core i7-4700MQ Processor 2.4GHz
Microsoft Windows 8
8GB DDR3-1600 RAM
1TB 5,400RPM Hard Drive
Dual NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M
So in your opinion(s), when should I upgrade? It's doing what I need it for currently so not in a huge rush. Thanks!
