Anyone have some numbers on cooling performance of dual tower CPU coolers with three fans?

Hey all,

I was thinking, I always see benchmarks for the NH-D14 and Phanteks PH-TC14PE (as well as other dual tower heatsinks) using two fans, but never with a third added on. Has anyone tried this? What kind of performance do you get?

Thanks for any and all responses!

I think there are a couple sites that test such things. I'm pretty confident the results are almost always within the margin of error (less than 3C) and are pretty much a practical waste - unless you have three low-RPM/airflow fans.

That makes sense. Interesting option for getting the most silent experience possible, but it's not like the NH-D14 is exactly loud. :p

Thanks for the reply! I'll do some digging on that.
