My Monitor doesn't work after installing my new graphics card, what do I do?

Like a lot of people that I've found on the internet the monitor works when the GPU isn't plugged in. When the GPU's plugged the fan spins and everything looks to be working fine but its just the monitor.

I've tried uninstalling the old driver but it didn't work, I've also tried changing the PCI-E settings in the bios but I get the same result, I think that the bios needs updating but I can't find an update anywhere.

GPU - EVGA SC GTX 750TI
CPU - Intel core i7 2600
PSU - Corsair CX500
Motherboard - Foxconn n15235

Help would be appreciated.

Re read the thing.
If you have a graphics card just sitting on your desk and you connect a monitor cable to it, how in the world is it supposed to do anything at all?
