2600k VS 3770 non-K

Hi,

I'm using I5 3450S. I'm going to upgrade my CPU. In my country, 3770k is very expensive than 2600k or 3770 non-K. Which should I choose between 2600k and 3770? I'm a music maker.

I think I will soft-overclock it. I'm using P8Z77-M and 2x4GB Corsair 2133 Vengeance Pro.

i7 2600k , I've been seriously thinking about getting one myself just for total overkill, then again I'd like the better intel hd4000 graphics of the 3770k myself for backup just in case my gpu dies lol.

If you're planning on any OCing, I'd go 2600k.

Can 2600k run with ram at 2133Mhz? Ram speed is quite important for loading audio samples.

How much "3770K" faster than "2600k"?

maybe ~7% clock for clock, and yeah it can use faster memory as long as the motherboard supports it, I've seen people with 2400mhz memory with theirs. I just use 1333 now, had 8gb before but I multitask alot

In my country, $250 for a new 2600k and ~$315 for a old 3770k. Is that worth?
Does 2600k use much more power than 3770k?
Sr for many question, but I have a very little budget to have the upgrade...

you're fine with the i7 2600k, it uses a tiny bit more power but not much. I've seen builds where people ran them fine overclocked on those corsair builder 430w pus's with a good gpu and they said they never had any problems, not that I would suggest such a low wattage PSU, but just saying haha

I don't have external graphic card . I don't need it. The thing I am concerning for is the power consumption, because my electricity bill is a bit high.
