Hi, I would like to know if the gtx 750 ti would work with the psu I have in my computer. Its a pre built gateway desktop so it's not that good, but currently I am using a 7750 in it.
This is my psu

It is a LITEON brand model no. PS-6301-08A

Also this is a link to the rest of the computer specs

This is a 300W PSU right ?? In that case i would recommend something beefier like something above 550W. You wont get the maximum performance from your Gpu if you use lesser PSU's.

This is the video card I want. http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Superclock-Dual-Link-Graphic...

It only needs 300 watts and should only use 75 watts max.

Thats not how it works. All your components draw power from the PSU like the CPU, monitor, etc. It all adds to the power consumption.

True. My 375 W PSU cannot run computer with a VGA card requires 300W, plus two sticks of 8 GB DRAM. It can run with single stick though.
Low power will damage hardware, which is bad for entire components.

Yeah I know but nothing in my computer uses that much power as in I dont have a overclocked i7. Everything works great as it is now. the new video card should only add maybe 25 watts over my current video card so I'm hoping everything will be alright. Also monitor doesn't draw from the psu unless it's an all in one pc. Anyway might get some kind of monitor to see how many watts my pc draws at peak performance.
