this amd build or this intel build (gaming)

hey was wondering what you all think of these 2 builds, i have the rest of the parts already.

AMD = AMD A10-7850K Kaveri 3.7GHz + ASUS A88X-PRO
Intel = Intel Core i5-4430 Haswell 3.0GHz + MSI Z87-G55

the difference in price is about 20$ more for the intel way. Thanks.

Well what are the rest of your parts and what is the purpose of this build?

If you choose the i5 4430, you don't need a Z87 motherboard. You could get a much cheaper B85 or H87 motherboard.

Yeah, if your not going for the K (K means overclocking) then you don't need a z87 board. You could go cheaper, it all depends on your eeds.

But what are the rest of your parts and what is the purpose of this PC? If it's gaming, and you do NOT already have a video card, the A10 would be way better. If you do have a halfway decent video card, than Intel is the way to go.

I agree with turbo, if your running and using multiple programs, then the a10 would be better, remember AMD more cores but their cheaper.

o ok cool ill list my other parts. and ye i said in the title its for gaming.

gtx 460 768mb
8gb ddr3 1600 ram
650w psu

ill be upgrading the graphics card in the near future.

If you can fit it, go for $250 760 2 GB, or for 50 bucks more you can get the 4 gb edition, but 2 of 2gb edition in sli kick some serious ass.

Defitinly Intel, but get these 2 parts instead of that motherboard and i5.
