CPU fan Buzzing when I play a game?

Right so when I play a game like DayZ standalone. I get this strange buzzing noise emitted from my PC. If i look at the floor on the game, the buzzing noise will stop. But if i seemt o have to render any textures in the distance. I will get this buzzing noise.
I've opened up the case and it sounds to my ears like its the CPU fan. I'm using the i7 3770k with the stock cooler. Also, the game will sometimes have lag spikes and when the lag spike happens; the buzzing noise will stop for the split second of the lag spike.
Any ideas or advise would be appreciated. I'm still unsure to whether its the CPU fan, hard drive, or GPU but I'm pretty sure its the CPU fan. Thanks, Sam

I'm guessing it's GPU coil whine, especially since you mention if you have to render any textures in the distance.
