Hi all,

Which should I get out of the Crucial M500 (£175) and the Seagate 600 series (£160)?

The reviews I've read are confusing so a little help is required :)

According to this review (which is really good), the Seagate product is the better buy. They both offer the same warranty (3 years). I know Crucial are the main memory experts - I've used their RAM products for years so have experienced the consumer relationship.

as of now you are probably right, with seagate and western digital getting into the ssd department and the advances in the past year, its probably very safe to say that they have done their home work and want to be at the forefront in sales of ssd's, obviously they are both the biggest and most trusted when it comes to mechanical drives.
