Veteran Badges What Are They?

I've got the CPU Veteran ++ ( Legacy ) and Motherboard Veteran ++ ( Legacy )

What do these badges mean and why are they no longer given out? Are they good ?

Tom's Hardware updated the badges/awards system some time back. If you had badges back before that upgrade, you were then granted these "legacy" badges under the new system.

They were the old badges issued before the forum software upgrade.

Yep - these are as they say, legacy badges. They are a way of demonstrating that a user who was an active participant here before in the older version of the forum software, before the newest incarnation of badges. There's no other way to earn them, apart from having previously been a participant.
