The reason the RAM is only one stick if because in the future I plan to get another 8gb stick once I have the money.

Get a 2x4gb RAM kit, you will not need more than 8gb with this system.

HDD is slow. Get a non-server drive. (7200rpm is what you want)

The GPU is pretty weak if this is for gaming.

Ok I switched the RAM to this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0037TO5C0/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER and the HDD to this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00461G3MS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER and I'm not sure what GPU to get then, any suggestions?(preferably max $130 for the GPU)

Look for an r9 260x for that price. It will be the best you can do. Should play modern games at medium settings just fine.

Ok I found an r7 260x here http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00I5HIWT6/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER will this work for my build listed at the top? And nikoli thanks for the build but I'm trying to order my parts off of Amazon because I have $90 gift card cash on there.

Yes that card will be great. Better than the 750 and should play most all games at medium settings comfortably at 1080p.

well then get that 8320 for $130 with your gift card. the amd 8320 just recently in the past couple of days went on sale and for $130 its a screaming deal and there is really no cpu out there that can come close to its performance for under $190.

as for putting the system together... there are lots of youtube videos of step by step instructions so dont be too worried, its actually kinda fun.
