Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but here is the issue i am having, and hoping someone can help

i have an all in one Sony Vaio that was given to me the other day since the user doesn't want to repair it, and just wanted their data pulled off. The Model number is pcg-21513L, and product name is VPCL2290X

The all in one will not power up. the Power supply works (checked with a multimeter) the power jack is sending power to the motherboard. The power button works (check with a continuity test)

my guess is that the motherboard is fried. I'm trying to see if anyone here has had one of these machine before, and knows a quick and cheap fix.

here is a pic of the motherboard if it help

and here is a full sized pic if you want a close uphttps://farm4.staticflickr.com/3795/13911076163_83100c378a_o.jpg

Not worth fixing. Just pull the drive, put it in a USB enclosure, connect it to another PC, and pull the data off.
