It will, the 970/990 series was made for the bulldozer and piledriver and steamroller chips

i think a lil upgrade to a ud3p gigabyte board would be better for the 8320… also with a 550w, depending on how far the 8320 and r9-280 are over clocked, a 550w starts to not leave too much headroom, switching out for a 760 which is fairly equal to a 280 saves a few watts…

dropping the ssd and hdd in favor of a 1tb western digital black drive nets a much faster 280x which will very noticeably game faster than a 760, even a 770 would only be a few bucks more than the 280x…
